Error Code 8004402F for important Update for Kernel-Mode Driver Framework version 1.11 for Windows 7 for x64-based systems (KB2685811)

And Error Code 8004402F for optional Update for windows 7 for X64 based Systems (KB25292687)

I have tried troubleshooting to no avail. I can't find an answer online and my computer keeps restarting trying to install this update ( and others with error code 800F0826, which I understand are not the problem) PLEASE help, and if you could put the answer in terms a non-technically oriented person can understand, I would appreciate it. thanks

1. Download and run System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821)
Download Windows 7 x64-based Systems (KB947821) 64 bit
Download Windows 7 x86-based Systems (KB947821) 32 bit
This tool will resolve inconsistency issues in Windows settings. After installation reboot the computer and try Windows update again .
If the update error still exists , then follow these steps.

2. Go to Computer Properties (Shortcut key : Press Windows key and Pause/break) , Go to Advanced tab and click 'Environment Variables'

Now you can see 'User variables for Administrator' , TEMP and TMP .
Sql native client download. If the value of these variables are different from 'C:TEMP' then try to change it. (Please note down the exact path, later you have to revert it to the old value).

Select the first line 'TEMP' and click the 'Edit' . Change the value to c:TEMP and press OK.

Select the second line 'TMP' and click the 'Edit' . Change the value to c:TEMP and press OK. Again press 'OK'.
Go to 'C:' and then create a New folder 'TEMP' , if the folder does not exist .
Reboot your computer and try windows update .
After successful update , change the 'Environment Variables' to old values.

- When the unit is set to Internal Clock, the unit will output F8 MIDI clocks based on the tempo. This can be turned off by setting the unit to Auto Clock Source.
